Fantastic Wine Tour - November 2018
Had a fantastic day as a group of 4 in the VW Kombi visiting 6 varied sized vineyards. Colleen took time at the beginning of the tour to find out our preferences and what type of wines we preferred and tailored the day accordingly. We had a great lunch with her at one of her favourite vineyards. Would highly recommend Highlight tours.

Perfect day with Colleen

The four of us opted for a private wine tour in the classic VW bus. Colleen was our tour guide and she was absolutely awesome! Her personality was bubbly and she fit in with our group perfectly. Colleen took us to some of the smaller wineries and in each place we stopped for wine tasting, we were almost the only ones there. The wineries we visited were fantastic and the wines we tasted were excellent. Colleen seemed to have a personal relationship with the staff at each place we stopped and in every case, we were treated like royalty. We had lunch at the Wairau River Winery. Because we were a small group, we were able to visit six wineries in the time allotted, with tastings in each place. We even managed to visit a chocolate factory on the way back. Yummy!! The whole day was a blast and I would recommend Classic Car Wine Tours as the tour to take in Marlborough New Zealand.
Personal and spot on

We impulsively decided to go on a winetour, and had our homestay host call Dave, owner of the company together with his wife. Within 30 minutes after we called, he picked us up at our B&B in an old school Mustang Convertible, and we headed out for a day in the sun! He asked our preferences, and took us to amazing local and family owned vineyards and wineries. It was such a personal and intimate tour, just to our liking. We visited 5 different places, and had lunch in one of the vineyards. I will definetly recommend these guys, and their amazing cars just put that extra highlight in the experience!
Highly recommend Highlight!

At the suggestion of a winery near our hotel, we called Highlight hoping to book a tour for the next day. We were looking for a private tour that would be personally tailored to our interests. Highlight really delivered! Colleen asked us a few preliminary questions by phone to plan the day, and the next morning our guide, David, picked us up at our hotel with an itinerary in mind. David was very knowledgable and very personable, and gave us a great tour. We visited a total of six wineries, including one where we had a relaxing lunch overlooking the vineyards. The tour gave us a better understanding of Marlborough, as well as the chance to visit wineries we would have otherwise overlooked.
